"Adventures in Filmmaking: A Traveling Film School"

Open Eye Pictures, in association with Windsor Mountain International, launched an innovative program in the summer of 2004 to expand the cultural, creative and technological horizons for young people. This was a month-long workshop for high school kids interested in using the camera as a way of connecting to foreign cultures. Students learned the nuts and bolts of how to make a documentary, while exploring the people and places of the Caribbean island of St. Vincent. Here's what some of the participants had to say:
